Frequently Asked Questions
How do I enable or change Calendar permissions?
Daymere reads your calendars directly from iOS EventKit. If you declined permission on first launch, open the iOS Settings app → Privacy & Security → Calendars → Daymere, and select Full Access. Inside Daymere, go to the Settings tab → Visible Calendars to choose which calendars are included in your schedule and free-time calculations.
How are Free-Time Gaps and Day Load calculated?
Daymere calculates free windows strictly within your configured Waking Hours (default 07:00 to 22:00). Overlapping or back-to-back events are automatically merged so busy time is never double-counted. You can customise your waking hours and minimum free-gap threshold (15m, 30m, 45m, or 60m) in Settings → Waking Hours & Free Gaps.
Why aren't my All-Day events reducing my free hours?
By default, all-day banners (such as bank holidays or birthdays) are displayed at the top of your day without blocking your hourly free-time calculation. If you prefer all-day events to count as busy time, toggle Include All-Day Events in Load inside Daymere's Settings tab.
How do I restore my Daymere Pro purchase on a new iPhone?
Open Daymere, go to the Settings tab (or open the Daymere Pro sheet), and tap Restore Purchases. Ensure you are signed in to the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
How do I add Daymere Widgets to my Home Screen or Lock Screen?
Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen or Lock Screen until the apps jiggle, tap the Edit / + button in the top corner, search for Daymere, and choose from Next Event, Free Time Summary, Today Timeline, or Countdown widgets.
